Searching for a tea recipe that cooks in under an hour? How about one that cooks in 40 minutes, it’s incredibly tasty and syn free?? Well, look no further – this is what you’ve been looking for!
This dish is one of the easiest dinners I have ever cooked, no prep required and minimum supervision needed. The chicken comes out super moist and the juice is simply finger-licking good. I prefer to have it with plain boiled rice and vegetables, but it goes well next to mashed potatoes too.
Hope you enjoy this one!
syn free sticky soy chicken
Serves: 2
Syns: 0
INGREDIENTS
Frylight
640g chicken breast chunks
4 garlic cloves, minced
2Tbsp tomato puree
50ml dark soy sauce
salt & pepper to taste
METHOD
1. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients together. Place in a pan previously sprayed with Frylight and cook with the lid on for 30 – 40 minutes over a medium-low heat, stirring occasionally.
2. Serve with fluffy white rice and mixed steamed vegetables.
3. Enjoy!
TIP:
- Don’t add salt & pepper until after you taste the food. Soy sauce is very salty and it’s easy to ruin the dish if you add extra salt.
- I prefer to serve this dish with plain boiled rice and plain veg as it tempers intensity of the soy flavour
